1995

Introduction to Programming

When I was 15, I was fascinated by the world of computers. Access to computers and the internet was difficult back then. I enrolled in a high school data processing course where I was first introduced to programming logic. In that course, I learned to program in Cobol and Clipper. Those were the days! The book on the photo was the first technology book I´ve bought in life!

1997

First Job

When I graduated from high school, I also got my first job. I was a proud document typist in an accounting department. But I soon moved on to the CPD (Data Processing Center), where I performed tasks such as data integration, report printing, and system backups.

2001

Web Development

I was fascinated by programming, so I started working at a web development company. That’s where I first learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the amazing PHP.

2003

Web Portal Development

This is where I did my first major project. I developed a web portal with user registration, a news portal, ads, and more.
In this project, I was responsible for managing the Apache web server, which was running on Linux. The portal was developed using PHP and MySQL.

Introduction to Oracle Technologies

After a brief period of venturing into other areas, I am back in the world of technology. This time, I am working in the ERP field. This was one of my most profound experiences, where I worked in various roles such as Support Analyst, Problem Management Analyst, Test Analyst, and finally Deployment Analyst.
In this company, I had my first contact with Oracle technologies. This is where things got serious! Since 2006, I have been deploying databases for companies in production environments, and I have developed my SQL skills, which are still part of my daily life today.
